despite all that he had working against him, Sitake set a standard. One which he hadn't held Tuiaki to imo because they are close. That is nepotism, and I lost a bit of hope for Sitake as a head coach when you look at those decisions side by side.
Tuiaki showed complete ineptitude against Toledo and USF. His quote about moving the LB up closer to the LOS the least drive of the USF game was flabbergasting. He was 6 quarters too late to make adjustments to teams that struggled to throw and were running all over him. There is no excuse whatsoever for this. But he keeps his job when Detmer is fired for not being able to score with a make shift OL and 4th string QB.
