I think it depends. Sometimes it’s when you leave home, sometimes it’s not. I’ve had 18 year old Privates in combat.

They’re definitely still kids. Same with 21 year olds. But they’ve left home and are doing some big boy things, with Valor.

But I’ve also seen plenty of other people who were adults as 20 year olds.

I guess I’m saying that there isn’t a black and white answer
