A lot of times, these days anyways, the admin can and may over ride the coach and not let him cut a player. The athletic director will have said parent banging down the door wanting answers and threatening with lawyers. It is a crazy world we live in. Rich parents are insane. It’s not just the rich but they cause a lot of problems in high schools with athletics. If the school puts their foot down then they go to their buddy on the school board. And if they donate money to the program then it complicates it more. This should be so simple and it is so easy to make it sound so simple but it gets complicated. Nobody wants to lose their job over some spoiled kid so concessions are made to whiny rich parents.
