That Tilly and the Wall song is the tweest song that ever tweed and, like all ultra-twee songs, my soul is at war with itself: it's a great song, but she's freaking tap dancing! And she thinks it's really cool! So ridiculous.
My wife and I saw B+S at Merriweather Post Pavillion a couple of years ago and they were great live (which surprised me because of how precious they can be on their albums). Stuart Murdoch is a really energetic and engaging frontman. I would highly recommend seeing them.
But Voxtrot as twee? That just seemed like straight up regular indie rock stuff. Camera Obscura would be a good substitute. When I saw them live, hipsters were literally waltzing to False Contender. It was terrible (the waltzing, not Camera Obscura).
