haul, then fans have to change the way they support the program. If they have the means and access, but aren't:

1. Cougar Club members, they should join
2. Season Ticket Holders, they must buy tickets
3. Attending Road Games, they need to start

I can't access games at LES thanks to geography, but I can check off the other two. I'll be at Michigan State and my whole family will be at Cincinnati. It is only by fans checking off as many of those three options as possible that BYU can thrive in the new college football landscape--with or without membership in a P5 conference.

There are too many of us who are hitching BYU Athletics' wagon to the football team's membership in a P5 conference. And the continuing disappointment from BYU's not attaining that membership is actually stopping fans from doing the three things listed. That's my beef. That's why I continue to plead with my fellow fans to forget the Big 12.
