You're telling me that 2nd string BYU players form the 84 team made NFL rosters? I'd love it if true. Can you substantiate? Of course, the 8 is just talking about the defense. The offense only had 5 or 6.

I don't like the idea of taking anything away from BYU. The NC was terrific. I think it's great. Given all that BYU stands for, it's even more impressive. The problem with your "forgettable" BCS comment is that we all remember how BYU fans felt about the BCS in the Fall of 2008 and 2009 when there were legit prospects of a BYU BCS. The sheer hysteria was tangible. Don't pretend it wasn't important.

I think the CB echo chamber has created a coping mechanism to diminish anything Utah does.

This is why you folks were in total, complete, utter shock when Utah was asked to join the P12. I get there were several factors involved with that move, and it's ludicrous for Utah fans to hold it against BYU fans IMO, but it did underscore one major fact, BYU fans really underestimate Utah.
