BYU FB only has 3 top 10 finishes. That really isn't that dominant.

From that point of view, it's really hard to say BYU football is that much more prestigious. At least on a national level. But since Utah has risen to the top level in both sports, that balance is untouched by any other non-BCS Program. That's unique.

The Heisman is great. Nothing to take away from BYU, but Utah does have 2 number one draft picks in the same year.

For a school as lowly as you're trying to make them out to be, that's unbelievable.

The NC is great too but no One outside of the BYU would take that over Utah's 2008 run and dominating win over a powerhouse SEC team. Again, you just can't replace the value of beating a big team on the big stage.

Utah's defense alone from that team put eight starters into the NFL. That's 8/11 starters on one side of the football that made NFL rosters.

Again, for a non-BCS team, that's unheard of.

Unfortunately, typical BYU fans don't know about football to recognize how unique those are.

That's why trying to diminish Utah makes no sense. Best to ignore the good and recognize the comparability of the two programs.
