I think most of the Anae critics get flustered that his drives stall in the red
zone in certain games. The running ability of Taysom helped tremendously to mask this. Every team will run their normal offense and then when the field gets smaller they call a wrinkle that has been set up by running a similar play earlier to get the automatic 8 yards or so for a TD. We saw that last night on the TD to Matthews. Great play! UConn ran a similar play on the bootleg right, wheel route. Every team has their offense and that is fine. But 5-10 new specific plays for each game, that exploits a weakness to get automatic yards at the specific time in a game is what the offense lacks in certain games.
