I don't really know how that would work - my current system allows for all tvs
to play sound through the receiver. So I know it can work. I just don't know what it takes to get it done.
My old two tv system had the primary tv through the receiver and the other tv's sound was direct from the tv. When I had that system I put the game I was watching on the primary tv and used the other tv to just watch game B. If there was a touchdown or something on tv B, I'd just mute game A and un-mute game B to watch the replay of the touchdown.

Then when game A was at halftime I'd just switch it to the non-primary tv and then put game B on the primary tv. I thought it worked pretty well.
