I have never paid for bags...
But then again, I travel enough such that it's a non-issue.
That's exactly why I don't like to travel SW. There are too many bargain shoppers who have no clue how to travel, nor do they have any manners (speaking generally, not specifically). It's the Walmart of airlines. I prefer to shop elsewhere for a number of reasons. Just don't spout off about something you know nothing about.
