Anybody picking the ball snapped over Heaps head
does not understand the question. That play affected BYU for just over a quarter of a single game. The legend of that play has far exceeded its importance to BYU football.
Nelson missing Hoffman at ND, Losing at Boise, Fumble at Utah, Blocked FG at Utah, Nelson Breaking his back, Hill getting his knee taken out against USU, two turnovers at VA, Turnover against TX 4 years ago, Kickoff return being called back against Utah last year - all had a far more catastrophic effect on the season.
