The Big12 is blinded, IMO....not having a conf. championship will put them #5
on the pecking order when all things are equal...
Of course a 12-0 Oklahoma or Texas will play for a national title...but an 11-1 Oklahoma or Texas against an 12-1 Ohio State, Oregon, 'Bama, etc, who won their championship game....will be passed over.
The championship games allows these teams to have one more tough game on their SOS....something that the Big12 is going to have to have.
This is the sole reason why I predict BYU in the Big12 in the next 3-4 years.
