they were both diagnosed with it when they were like 7-8 years old (both 21 now). It doesn't effect my wife as bad as it does her twin sister. My wife's allergy started acting up when she was pregnant and has then kind of subsided. Her sister can't even eat food if it was cooked with utensils that touched food with wheat in it. We're always cooking up gluten free bread in our bread maker and it really is the wife's decision to pick the restaurant when we go out because I still don't know places that offer gluten free menus or not.
I've had some of the gluten free stuff and it's not that bad, it's pricey, but it doesn't taste that bad.
