50 bucks is cheap for memory and yes you can get later
say 3 or 6 months down the road, that price won't shift that much and you lost that much time. I would get the 16GB now.

That number doesn't include everything. It's a build from scratch.

What OS did you choose? Win7? Win8? Other?
phillidius

I'm comparing to a deal like this:

That deal does kick butt, though it's expired. Also I'd rather not just get a

Also it doesn't include an SSD and my video card is substantially better.

My bad...quick read...SandYFan, did you get a mechanical keyboard?
kalifi

Um no? Just a standard Logitech, I think.

If you value the process of putting it together

I HATE the bloatware that comes with DELL or other pre-builts

Very easy to do a fresh OS install

Go 16GB RAM if you can
Heinz57
1/23/13 9:43am
I can't think of a reason why I need to. I don't run super-RAM intensive
SandYFan

50 more bucks, easiest money spent and better performance
Heinz57
1/23/13 9:50am
But also the easiest thing to upgrade later too...
