I have no issue with Travis Hunter winning the Heisman, but to critique Jeanty based on the schedule he played is silly. If you extrapolate how many yards he rushed for against Oregon, it would total 2496 yards for the season, basically exactly what he ended up with (2497 yards). He also had 3 TD's against Oregon, which would extrapolate out to an incredible 39 TD season. If he can do that on the road against the #1 team, he can do it against anyone.
Jeanty was just unlucky in that he was far and away the best RB in college football, but he was up against a guy who was not the best WR or the best CB, but was top 5 at both, and so is a very versatile athlete in an era of specialty. Jeanty would likely win the Heisman 9 out of 10 years.
