match. GA Tech looked dominant for the first two sets and had Stanford on the ropes in the 3rd set (up 23-20 iirc). Stanford managed to come back and then win in 5. The crowd was stunned. We have family ties to the Stanford team and we were rooting for them, but I was super impressed with how good GA Tech blocked and dug throughout the game. There were several extended rallies throughout where both teams made incredible plays to keep the ball alive.

The GA Tech vball gym is pretty small, but it gets loud in there. Their fans are passionate about that team. It’s a fun environment. I was a little surprised how few Stanford fans there were. I would have thought they would travel a little better. BYU had at least 10x the representation a couple years ago.
