The biggest flaw in the CFP is the determination of the 4 byes. Why on earth
should Boise St and SMU and even BYU get a bye?
The top 5 conference champs should get in the 12 but they should be seeded 1 to 12, top 4 get byes. Winning your conference championship can factor into where you are seeded but no way it automatically boosts you up in the seedings. It's a huge oversight in the process. It's hard to imagine it lasts long.
To get to the semis would you rather play Arizona St at home and then Boise St or would you rather have a bye and then Tennessee.
You do have 2 games instead of 1, but still it seems much preferable to playing Tennessee.
The 5 seed gets the ASU/BSU path, the 1 seed gets the Tenn path. I think I'd prefer to lose the B10 CCG.
