Unwritten committee rules for 12 team playoff in honor of Animal farms equality
1. Notre Dame is always an at large selection. Period.
2. Only 1 G-5 champion gets in.
3. BIG10 and SEC each get at least 4 teams.
4. ACC and Big12 are 1 bid leagues.
5. A G-5 champ never gets to host.
6. The G-5 entrant draws the highest rated SEC or BIG10 team in the 1st round.
