And not good at all when he is under pressure.

Jake has said that when he recognizes the coverage look he knows instantly how to pick apart that defense. When it’s a new look then He takes time to figure it out.

When teams bring pressure it’s often a different coverage look that accompanies it. Utah took advantage of this.


Per rPFF Arizona state is NOT good at bringing pressure (til they play us of course). That bodes well.

I trust that Jake is spending time on film making the reads for new coverage looks intuitive and that coaches are walking him through progressions on those looks.

I am reasonably hopeful on the outcome Saturday. Something like 59 to 3 would be quite acceptable.
