And no peep of an apology. No message to the students or fan base. No "we're sorry."

Nothing.

How can this be interpreted any other way than they are cool with it, not embarrassed, and not apologetic at all?

Maybe state government officials need to rein them in. What a stain on the state and it's reputation.
