If BYU wins the conference and gets a 3 or 4 seed in the playoffs and a bye
and then plays a team like Ohio State in the second round, would that game be played in Provo?

No. Only chance for a home game is the 1st round, meaning we would have to *not*

No. Neutral bowl game sites in the 2nd round

I hope that changes in 2026 once the schools and conferences realize how amazing the on campus 1st round games are.

I don't think they'll ditch the bowl games but an expansion to 16 would

The contract expires in 2025 so they can do what they want. It would be great to ditch the parasitic bowl system and

The bowl contracts are still in place this last season. If BYU wins conference they go to Fiesta Bowl. If CO they go🌹

Rose is not an option for the Big 12 champ placement.

Former PAC12 teams are obligated to complete the final year of their bowl agreement...

I don't think that agreement included the Rose Bowl this year.

This is correct - any new 1st year BIG12 members who were former PAC12 will play in Rose Bowl if BIG12 Champs

While I believe that to be correct for the former PAC bowls in general I am not
