What are the best cruise lines and why?
I’m willing to spend more money for a better experience.
It’s for the HCBW and my four kids (ages 8-13).
Also, what are the best ways to reserve these? Costco? Travel agent? Direct?
TIA

Royal Caribbean, because don’t you want to go on a cruise with Cosmo?

I guess it depends on what he means by "more money"? Disney is sooo expensive

If you are willing to spend the money, get a cruise on a specific boat. Even

In my experience, Carnival has better food than RC, but RC ships are usually nicer than Carnival.

With kids, RC quality is close to Disney for a fraction of the cost.

Carnival for us was much better than RC with kids. RC has been the worst of all

Costco will get you cash back. Otherwise a good agent will likely get you

Royal Caribbean. Excellent for families, much less expensive than Disney.

The specific ship almost matters more than the cruise line

Can you pick which specific ship you go on? If so, how do you know which one?

Yeah, when you book a cruise you are booking a specific itinerary, date, & ship

We've done RC and Norwegian. RC is significantly better.

Disney is the best. The others are ship dependent.

Ponant. Just returned from Dalmatian Coast cruise. They were spectacular.

Agree with other posters that RCL is the best for your family composition.
