We've seen this time and time again. KWhitt wants a dynamic, pass oriented offense. He gets a new QB (or each new season) and tries to pass a lot.
It doesn't work. Finally, mid season he switches back to his tried and true ground attack where he focuses on his top-notch running back and has great success. Eventually he runs too heavy of a load on that running back and he gets injured. Usually the back-up does pretty good as well.
I think we are one week from KWhitt waking up again and using his punishing ground game more.
