I get it if your reason is to help the environment or to be energy independent or whatever if you get a battery too.
But I have yet to hear a case where it made more financial sense to switch, especially if you're having to finance them. Energy is pretty cheap in Utah, even with rocky mountain power increasing rates.
Had a buddy over the weekend bragging about his 0 dollar energy bill in light of the RMP rate increases, but come to find out he's locked into paying 200 bucks every month for the next 20 or whatever years for his solar system that he purchased lol
