So, per Doc, yes holiday diet absolutely a factor, will retest in 6 months but
does not recommend statins or a calcium test as still low risk. ASCVD is 3.9% over the next 10 years. Apparently the guidelines indicate to start statins at 7.5%.

I'm good to wait and I think my normal diet will drop the numbers back down and I'm going to make changes to be even better than normal with my diet.

But I do wonder why they wait on meds. I like being drug free, but is there a downside to taking them?
