First — Colorado identified Bohanon way before snap happened. They knew something was up because Bohanon had already had a snap at the goal line. There was no to ver limited at best “element of surprise” with Bohanon
Second — you’ve let Bohanon throw 3 or 4 passes all year. You don’t think that when you dial up a trick play for him to throw it, he might force a bad throw in that spot because he thinks “here’s my chance.” To me, that’s what looks like happened. He forced an unneeded INT.
Wanna get Bohanon some reps—do it like the goal line run. Put him in there on some 2nd and short plays.
But the above mentioned play was way too forced and was a costly call by Arod
