I like Hard 8 when I need a quick BBQ place for family from out of town. But it’s no Goldee’s, Panther City, or Cattleack. I expect something different from those places but not being at Goldee’s doesn’t mean I don’t like meat. I’m not going to represent the basic places as “great Texas BBQ”. But I won’t turn my nose up at grilled or smoked meals just because side they aren’t the best.
