From The Cut videos: multiple occasions of coaches and players saying things like: "you've put in the work and deserve
To play well today" or used terms like "manifest" the results you want or have worked for.

I've wondered if this verbiage has come from the team sports psychologists...changing the mindset of the players and coaches.

I imagine players are having a lot of fun in San Antonio and might have a healthy mix of preparation with celebration. If the team has put in the work, they deserve fun...but also "deserve" to play well today
