BYU's average ACT is 30. Utah's is 27. The fact we have a more intelligent
student body would suggest overall our alumni will be wealthier, and thus more able to pay players.

Add to that we pull kids from around the country and BYU campus becomes our home, while a high percentage of Utes drive to school from their parents basement, I think a real loyalty to the school/teams is created.

Winning trumps all which is why the Ute fanbase has grown the last 20 years, but being in the same conference now has evened that former advantage.

And with money being a primary factor to your success now, I fully expect the BYU to continue to reestablish itself as the preeminent college football power in the region.
