bailed early in the season over some NIL dispute, winning the bowl game last night without its head coach and leading receiver - so great.  Sure, Cal is not very good, but it is an ACC "P5" and UNLV in the lowly MWC.  That win was a huge deal to UNLV, which is presently #24 in the Top 25 and will likely stay within the final Top 25.  It was a BSU loss away from playing in the first college FB playoff.  That is pretty incredible, considering the decades of drought the UNLV FB program has had.

Hoping BYU can go out with a bowl win and likewise finish with 11 wins.  Regardless of not making the conference championship game or playoff, beating Colorado in the Alamo Bowl would be a very big deal.
