- Recruiting advantage on the island. Come play at BYU and you get to come play in front of your family every single year.
- Attractive road trip for other recruits
- Extra home game revenue far outweighing the expense of the trip


Cons
- Hawaii can be a tough place to play
- The extra home game may not be an advantage in the modern era of CFP. Extra win doesnt mean much but a loss could be damaging.
