My 6yo is getting her tonsils out in the morning. Any advice for recovery?
Anything I should watch out for or be aware going into it?
How long is the typical recovery?

Watch for bleeding. I’m sure it’s normally fine but my niece had significant bleeding and had to be hospitalized.

My brother in law almost died from bleeding post tonsillectomy. A stitch was accidentally placed in his carotid artery.
