Ghost of Peanut Intervention Needed
It's incredible that anybody who has been coaching as long as KWhitt has can
find himself unable to admit the call was correct.

I've been around lots of competitive guys in my life. I've seen some guys who never believe a call is correct if it goes against their team. These guys generally do not rise above coaching rec league (and they shouldn't even be coaching there). I've seen some guys who will get heated in the moment and disparage the call, but either simply calm down later as they recognize the call is the call and you have to play on, or at least come around after seeing video of it later. And I've seen guys who are able to keep their cool during the game even if the call is truly egregious.

I'm somewhere in the middle, myself. I appreciate the guys who are the latter as they usually make very good coaches. It amazes me that a guy like KWhitt has risen as high as he has and been successful despite being the former. He had time over the weekend to cool down, even view the tape, and still came out on Monday blaming the call.

This is a man who has watched more game film than all of CB combined and then some. He knows the rules inside and out, always looking for ways to turn them into a competitive advantage. He knows the game better than anybody on this board, and he can't bring himself to admit an obvious call was correct simply because it was against his team. Most guys with that demeanor do not rise to the level KWhitt has as a coach.
