The 16-team SEC tiebreaker situation is a mess. If the favorites win out with one exception, the title game is LSU vs

No Alabama. No Georgia. No Texas (potentially). No Tennessee. No Ole Miss. aka the 5 SEC teams currently in the Top 12 of the rankings.
I’m not sure these giant conferences work long term a structured. Choosing two teams in the championship game makes no sense.
