reality is that supply and demand are king... so let's try to figure out how supply/demand balance (or don't balance) for the game.
It seems to me that more Utah fans want to dump their tickets than BYU fans want to buy their tickets. The game will be cold and the anti-BYU sentiment on Utah's campus will keep many BYU buyers home. They just don't want to deal with the known nonsense on the Hill.
Real data points we know.
Ticketmaster is the licensed reseller of the Yewts. They have thousands of seats available (see below).
Seatgeek and Stubhub are the two other resellers with the most volume. They also have thousands of seats. (And Stubhub is reporting just 400 tickets sold over the last week)
KSL is a great re-seller that avoids the crazy fees, but there is a tiny risk of fraud when you use them. If you want to buy, you should look there first and Ticketmaster next.
So... it seems to me that thousands of seats are available and prices go lower from here...
(full disclosure... I have my seats from BYU already and will be at the game...I'm just trying to get Yewt fans to sell their tickets to us for less $$$)
