There are two conferences where ESPN controls 100% of the broadcast rights - the SEC and the ACC. ESPN also controls most of the broadcasts to the playoffs - TNT has two first round games and everything else is on ESPN. I would expect a full-court press from the talking heads at ESPN to prop up any SEC and ACC teams on the margin while at the same time minimizing any B1G or Big XII teams in a similar position. Expect to hear a bunch of nonsense about how the SEC deserves to have up to six teams in.
