It seems that position is such a slam dunk to recruit for BYU. Historically our best teams have GREAT TE's. We have landed a handful of highly recruited TEs over the last decade that never panned out. What gives? Is this simply just a scheme where the TE isn't going to get a lot of numbers? Or do we need better guys? or better coaches?

I'm not sure how or why we've pulled away from that identity as a great TE school with a league guy on the roster most years and let the utes take that from us. I would LOVE to see that part of the offense return with force.
