I've always followed the ESPN college football homepage to see what they are saying about BYU.

Lately, it seems like there is almost nothing about BYU. Even in game day there is very little BYU coverage. More stories about Utah than BYU.

I have no idea why, but here are a few theories:

1. BYU was an ESPN darling back in the days of independence and they liked BYU because of our contract. Now ESPN is a little sore because they don't "own" BYU like they used to. My understanding is independence would not have worked without the ESPN-BYU relationship.

2. ESPN is secretly touting only the teams that will end up in a super conference and we aren't one of them.

3. It's all in my imagination and i am overthinking it.
