The amount of turnover from season to season makes it impossible. I don't blame anybody who doesn't have us in their top 25, and I'm fine with our preseason Big XII ranking right about in the middle. I also don't think fans are crazy to think we'll compete for a Big XII championship. What does anybody know about how good BYU will actually be this year? New coaching staff and tons of new players, several of whom are freshmen. Add in that a couple have been playing internationally as opposed to the AAU circuit, and it's a huge question mark.

But that's alright. Pre-season rankings mean nothing in CBB. If we're as successful as I think we will be in conference play, we'll be a top 5 seed. That's all that matters.
