Do you tell a client/friend that his key employee applied for a job with me?
I have a sort of friend who is also a client. His business has struggled a bit over the years and he was expressing that he is really excited that they're on a good path now, primarily because he hired a really experienced, confident person to be his office manager. (he is a dentist with 5 employees)

Yesterday that person applied for a job with me. I have no interest in hiring her and aside from that wouldnt hire an employee away from a client/friend. She didnt even list that she is working for him on her resume. He is basing a lot of changes that he is implementing on the skills and experience of this person, and if she leaves (or when) its going to really hurt his business.

Tell him? Or does she have a right to privacy?
