Make him the assistant head coach, we get full share of Big12 money and I would bet BYU may give him HC money to stay. I know he will get potentially a lot of offers and it may be for more money. I think there might be a couple of things that keeps him at BYU.

#1- Family. He has been in Utah forever and around LDS culture. He and his family may want to keep that.

#2 Health. This maybe more a short term reason to stay but he just had a heart attack. Maybe he doesn’t need the intense stress of being a HC. Maybe his wife wants that for him.

We need the other D coaches to just be sponges around Jay Hill for a while and soak up what makes him great.
