You should've got an email from BYU about how to transfer your tickets

You have to do it from the BYU ticket site. It will transfer the ticket

They do not need to be removed from the wallet first

Yep and if you try to have them scanned, they show as invalid. Done that before on accident when sold a couple in wallet
