Wow, Boeing already offered, before the strike, a 25% pay increase.

This sounds like it could be a very very long strike. The Union demands seem huge, the company in really really bad shape, the economy in trouble. None of those point to a quick resolution!

(BUT, I also know nothing about the details....)
