get any better. About 8 years ago I started playing and I sucked bad. Regularly hitting in the 60's and 70's on 9 holes. I remember feeling great breaking 60 for the first time. Here are my scores for the last 5 rounds I've played:
-45 Birch Creek front 9
-47 Logan River front 9
-47 River Oaks front 9
-49 Birch Creek back 9
-47 Logan River back 9
My tendency right now is to hit bogey and par golf with one or two blowup holes where I'll hit a quad or quint. Hitting 65% of fairways, corrected my slice (it still eeks out 1 out of 9 times), developed a great chip shot, reduced my putts to a 2.1 average. Still struggle with bunker shots and long irons. Aim on approach shots is very inconsistent as I have a tendency to hit thick or thin and get off line. I only hit 15% of greens in regulation.
I do about 25-35 rounds per year, almost always 9 holes. For those who want to get better, just keep going and be patient. Once I improve my approach and bunker shots, watch out.
