Since I'm a poor, starving college student, I felt that I couldn't afford to buy a ticket to last night's game. I was wavering on whether or not I would go until last week, when I decided I would exchange something other than money for a ticket.

Last Wednesday, I posted a listing on Craigslist (link here). I checked my email constantly for the next two days and didn't see anything.

Well, I checked again Friday afternoon, and I got an email from Anna* (name changed for anonymity purposes) saying she would be willing to get me a ticket if I bought her dinner and spent some time with her Saturday night.

After the Utes game Saturday, I met Anna at The Brick Oven, where we got to know each other and found out what our interests are, what our plans are, etc.

We decided to go back to her place and watch a movie. Her roommates rented "Stardust" earlier in the week, and she had been too busy to watch it, so we decided to put it in. Things seemed fine and relaxed at first, but then she started to scoot closer to me and stroke my arm. I was enjoying it, so I ran my fingers through her hair and playfully tickled her.

I have no idea how it happened, but later we started to kiss. I was shocked at how intense it was getting, but I never considered asking her why she was doing this. We ended up making out for around 40 minutes before her roommates walked in. Anna seemed sort of embarrassed, and kinda jolted upright. We snuggled a little bit for the rest of the movie, then hugged and gave our good-byes when it was over. She sent me a text after I left, saying "thanks for the great night, and it was definitely worth the price of the ticket, but don't look into it much. You're a great guy, but you understand, right?"
