that has been competing well. The bottom 3-4 may lose a spot. We do have a second team, but the last two kids that I dropped to the second team were crushed emotionally (u12 at the time). They both actually got more playing time and had great experiences on the lower team, but from what I heard, it shot their confidence.
Note: I talked to both parents and mentioned that they were not going to play on the A team, but is wasn't a bad thing. They'd get more playing time and play with athletes equal to their athletic level. Didn't help.
Also, my youngest isn't growing. He's the smallest on the team and against most teams we play (and not as strong/fast). I'm curious if he's going to have to play down.
