One of the few food items I miss from CA. But I can see why some might not like

Sounds delicious, you’re the first person I’ve ever heard that doesn’t like tri tip

Don't know how a red-eat meater can not be a fan of tri-tip. It is by far the easiest thing to cook

Um.. up until 1950 the Tri-Tip was considered junk meat (ground up or used as stew meat)

Your point being? When cooked correctly, which I do, it's incredible.

That it's a cut of meat given to ranch hands or thrown away... yet another California trend pushed on the world..

Brisket for a long time was considered trash meat. Cook it right and it's delicious.

Tri-tip is my last meal on death row. I love sirloin. It's just my jam.
