I bet AFCU makes it pretty easy.
I sold my car to a kid getting financing from a credit union, I forget which one. Maybe MACU. I went with him to a branch thinking they'd want me to sign title to them, see a purchase order, or something. In the end, seemed like I didn't need to be there. The paperwork was all with the buyer, he handed me a cashiers check, and they worked out adding MACU to title later, I think.

Made me think they mostly give the buyer the money and sign a contract obligating him to buy the car and work it out.

I bet AFCU will give you the money, you go buy the car and drive it back, need to get title from Utah and put AFCU on it as lien holder.

And if they give you a cashier's check and you don't buy the car, you return the check. Whether that means a loan was ever made nor not, I dunno.
