Kentucky is a lot closer drive for his family than Utah to watch a game in person, not to mention that they won’t be in a rebuild for his final year. As happy as I am about the Young hire and retaining Fouss, Hall, Knell and Saunders, BYU is definitely in a rebuild mode. They are fortunate to have veteran pieces, but they are playing With a new coach, new system, and a lot of uncertainties. I understand why a senior may want to go to an established team and system, for his final shot at getting the attention of the NBA. I just wish that he had given BYU a chance to counter.
