I asked that he send an email prior to our meeting from an official web MD address as well as a way for me to verify his identity. He said he would do all of this.

On the day of our scheduled call, I noticed that he was calling from New York this time and not Los Angeles. I questioned him about that and he said they had multiple offices and he was working in the New York office this week.

I told him I didn’t receive an email from his secretary and he assured me that once we got on the zoom call he would be able to provide me that information

I told him that that wasn’t how it was going to work and I wouldn’t be speaking with him if he wasn’t able to provide that.

He started responding in way that someone would not respond and he was trying to manipulate me into just just getting on the call.

I tried to politely our conversation which she was not taking the cues and so I hung up

He called me right back and told me we must’ve got cut off. I told him that we didn’t and that he was not taking my obvious cues that I wanted to end the conversation so I had to hang up that was a cancellation fee for the time that he had set aside to go over this. I hung up

He called back multiple times and I ignored the calls and blocked his number

Within 30 seconds, I received a phone call from my office manager

I answered and it was the scammer. He told me I needed to get to my computer and open type in the link that he was going to send me I hung up.
